The Magic Kingdom of Litus (南部国家リトゥス Nanbu kokka Rito~usu, Southern State Rito~usu) is a fallen kingdom surrounded by a barren desert, located on the lower body of the continent of Remlia in Dragon Marked For Death.

Prior to the events of the game, the Witch had lived here until her mother passed away.^[2]

The Magic Kingdom of Litus consists of the area from the waist to the lower back of Atruum. A huge Staff of the Gods ("kinetic bombardment") was erected on the thigh, and it was once one of the residencies of the Divine Family.

At the time, it was a nation with excellent magic technology that prospered alongside Medius, but due to the death of its Holy King and the resulting drainage of magical power, the southern part of the country has now become a desert area corresponding with the loss of magical technology.

The kingdom is closed. There are caravans that come from Hasta, grave robbers that raid the ruins of the royal capital, native species that live in arid areas, and Deva species that continue to protect the ruins of the royal capital.

Also, with the desertification, purification has begun to dissolve from the southern end of the continent, and it is a dangerous wet area where powerful Asura species roam further south.

The tomb of the Holy King (which is pyramid-like) is erected in the center of the desert. The building is just barely free from erosion to its center.

Before the fall of the kingdom, like the Medius Divine Knights, the Litus Knights also bore the stigmata.^[4]

Geography and Locations[]

The Magic Kingdom of Litus is surrounded by desert; its landscape is covered with ancient tombs and pyramids. The capital of Litus supports the Staff of the Gods, one of the holy weapons used by the gods in the war. Tents and marquees are also scattered about. Many travelers from other lands come here to seek ancient treasures, to win fame, or simply due to a dare.

Uos Tower[]

Uos Tower has existed for eons, believed to contain murals dating to the age of the gods.^[5] It is located on the far south of Litus.
