Appraisal[]
Recommendations[]
Cursed Doll is a Weapon that can quickly recover DP when taking damage. You can intentionally take contact damage or get Poisoned to gain DP. You can bring long-term regenerative healing Items like Potion +2 to deal with the health loss.
Cursed Doll & Death Bringer Build[]
If you pair Cursed Doll with Death Bringer, which grants "Permanent poison status", the continuous damage from Poison causes DP to constantly build up. This lets Oracle use Reinforced Guard Form almost indefinitely. Players using the Cursed Doll & Death Bringer build must avoid the Dragon Sphere or else the Poison status will end.
DP Recovery Calculations[]
The following table shows the estimated number of times you must get hit before the DP bar is full, resulting from various effects.
Variant | % DP Recovery | Number of Times Hit before Max. DP |
---|---|---|
Cursed Doll | 10% | 10 |
Cursed Doll +1 | 15% | 6 to 7 |
Cursed Doll +2 | 20% | 4 to 5 |
Cursed Doll +3 | 25% | 3 to 4 |

Real World Significance[]
"Cursed Doll" most likely refers to voodoo dolls, a type of effigy in which pins are inserted, found in the magical traditions of cultures around the world.[1] Fiction often portrays the sticking of pins into these dolls as a witchcraft for conjuring various ailments. The word "Voodoo" refers to spirits, and Voodoo is a practice for connecting spirits and mortals.[2]
