Physical Attacks[]
Bandit uses Small-swords and Shuriken. Small-swords are for close combat, whereas Shuriken focus on ranged attacks.
Small-swords VS. Shuriken[]
By equipping 1 Small-sword and 1 Shuriken, Bandit can swap between the 2 Weapons in the middle of a Quest. It is usually recommended to bring both Weapons because the Small-sword Slash is effective at gaining DP, while the Shuriken Throw is effective with "shotgun"-type damage.
Small-swords[]
Small-swords are available starting from Level 1. With Small-swords, Bandit can do Slash attacks, which do 2 hits per Slash. He can continuously slash multiple times in the ground or in midair. While on the ground, he can slightly move forward while slashing by pushing the joystick or appropriate directional key.
- Unlike the Shuriken Throw, the basic Slash gives 1.2 DP per hit. Combined with its rapid attack speed, it is an effective Weapon for building up DP for the party.
Shuriken[]
Shuriken are available starting from Level 1. Some are exclusive to Bandit, while others are exclusive to Shinobi. Shuriken can be thrown 3 times on the ground to do a 3-hit combo. During the 3-hit combo, Bandit will first throw his 3 Shuriken forward, followed by 3 more Shuriken that are thrown slightly upward, before finishing off with 8 Shuriken thrown in front of him. Shuriken can also be thrown in the air, but they do not form a combo.
- Unlike the Small-sword Slash, the main drawback is that Shuriken attacks give 0 DP, but are effective in damaging enemies in a "shotgun" fashion. By the endgame, Shuriken are especially powerful.
- By tilting the joystick up (either on the ground or in midair), Bandit can do an Upward Throw, which shoots out 3 Shuriken diagonally upward while on the ground or in midair.
- By tilting the joystick down while in midair, Bandit can also do a Downward Throw, which shoots out 3 Shuriken diagonally downward.
Dragon Skills[]
Dragon Claw[]
When performing Dragon Claw on the ground, Bandit will have start-up frames before he leaps forward and extends his Dragon Claw. Upon landing a hit on an enemy, Bandit extracts Relics before recoiling back into the air. This move deals Holy Damage and consumes DP.
- Alternatively, exclusive to Bandit's Small-sword, a Quick Dragon Claw can be performed after 1 or more Slashes, removing the start-up frames.
- When performing Dragon Claw on the ground, if you press R right as Bandit lands the Dragon Claw on enemy, he will do one extra hit and his recoil animation will be faster.

- Throughout the recoil animation, Bandit will have invincibility frames ("I-frames").
- Dragon Claw will extract at least 1 Relic that corresponds to the Bandit's current Elemental Contract.
- LUC increases the number of Relics extracted (max. Relic extraction = 5) and increases the likelihood of Dragon Relics to be extracted when performing Dragon Claw.
- Bandit can perform Dragon Claw in midair, which is called Air Dragon Claw. It has a slightly faster start-up time than the grounded Dragon Claw, and Bandit will launch himself diagonally downward until he touches the ground or hits an enemy.
- The damage of Dragon Claw changes depending on the Elemental Contract.
Dragon Claw Combo[]
If Bandit keeps on holding R after landing Dragon Claw on an enemy, he will perform a Dragon Claw Combo. This move latches onto an enemy, dealing a maximum of 16 hits and extracting 4 additional Relics (total = initial extracted Relics + 4 Relics) before Bandit recoils back into the air.
- While Bandit is latching onto an enemy, he will be stationary and vulnerable to attacks.
- Bandit can exit the Dragon Claw Combo early by letting go of the R button, which will recoil him back into the air.
- Throughout the recoil animation, Bandit will have I-frames.
- The damage of Dragon Claw changes depending on the Elemental Contract.
Dragon Reload[]
Dragon Reload can be used on the ground to extract Relics at the cost of DP. When performing Dragon Reload, Bandit will extract Relics (the number of Relics depends on LUC). He will be vulnerable to attacks and will have recovery frames after extracting.
Magic Skills[]
Relic-Related Skills[]
Using a Relic will consume 1 Relic from the number stored. For example, using a Thunder Relic will deduct 1 Thunder Relic from the amount currently stored. If the Bandit runs out of a certain type of Relic, he will not be able to perform that Relic's move, and a speech bubble showing the depleted Relic will appear above his head.
Fire Relic[]
Consume 1 Fire Relic to use. When performing Fire Relic, Bandit will rise up in the air and do an anti-air uppercut. You can press the Fire Relic command again (this does not consume another Fire Relic) at the uppercut's peak to crash down, descending until Bandit touches the ground. This move deals Magic Damage and it is of the Fire Element.
- Bandit can only carry 3 Fire Relics and can only perform 1 Fire Relic in the air.
- Both the Fire Relic's rising duration and falling duration have I-frames throughout their animations.
- If an enemy is moving downward while performing the Fire Relic, you can land multiple extra hits until the enemy touches the ground.
Ice Relic[]
Also known as "Water Relic". Consume 1 Ice Relic to use. When performing Ice Relic, Bandit will fire a stream of water at the ground, allowing Bandit to hover for a limited time and hit enemies with the steam of water. This move deals Magic Damage and it is of the Ice Element.
- Bandit can only carry 3 Ice Relics and can only perform 1 Ice Relic in the air.
- Bandit can move left and right while using Ice Relic. However, Bandit cannot change the direction he is facing.
- For example, if Bandit was facing to the left when the Ice Relic was activated, then his character will only be facing in the left direction, and he cannot turn to the right.
Wind Relic[]
Consume 1 Wind Relic to use. When performing Wind Relic, Bandit will blast himself upward, hitting all enemies nearby. This move deals Magic Damage and it is of the Wind Element.
- Bandit can only carry 4 Wind Relics and can only perform 2 Wind Relics in the air.
- When Bandit launches himself upward, he will float in the air for a brief amount of time before regaining his fall speed.
Thunder Relic[]
Consume 1 Thunder Relic to use. When performing Thunder Relic, Bandit will dash forward and, if he hits an enemy, he will recoil back into the air. This move deals Magic Damage and it is of the Thunder Element.
- Bandit can only carry 4 Thunder Relics and can only perform 2 Thunder Relics in the air.
- Thunder Relic has short start-up frames, which leaves him vulnerable to attacks before he can actually dash.
- Throughout the dashing animation of Thunder Relic, Bandit will have I-frames.
Poison Relic[]
Consume 1 Poison Relic to use. When performing Poison Relic, Bandit will temporarily increase the damage of all of his attacks.
- Bandit can only carry 3 Poison Relics.
Dragon Relic[]
Like other Relics, activating a Dragon Relic consumes 1 Dragon Relic to use, but its abilities change depending on the Elemental Contract.
Fire Dragon Relic[]
Fire Contract Dragon Relic can only be used on the ground. To perform, you need to hold down the Dragon Relic button. Bandit will charge his Dragon Claw, then he will fire a barrage of projectiles for a short amount of time toward the direction he is facing, similar to Empress's Dragon Cannon. This move deals Holy damage and consumes 1 Dragon Relic to use.
- Fire Contract can carry a maximum of 2 Dragon Relics.
- Bandit will stay stationary throughout the move, making him vulnerable to attacks.
- Bandit will stop firing Dragon Cannon when he gets hit or you let go of the Dragon Relic button.
- When ending the Dragon Cannon, there will be recovery frames in which Bandit cannot move nor attack before he can do any action again.
Ice Dragon Relic[]
Ice Contract Dragon Relic can only be used on the ground. To perform, you need to tap or hold down the Dragon Relic button. When performing Dragon Relic, Bandit will deploy a shield which will block attacks, and you can keep holding the Dragon Relic button to heal an amount of HP per tick for a limited time, similar to Warrior's Dragon Guard. This move consumes 1 Dragon Relic to use.
- Ice Contract can carry a maximum of 2 Dragon Relics.
- The duration and HP heal per tick for Dragon Relic can be increased with PIE.
- While guarding, certain enemy attacks can be repelled. For example, guarding the Ogre Prince's overhead smash attack will cause him to throw his arm back.
Wind Dragon Relic[]
Wind Contract Dragon Relic can only be used on the ground. To perform, you need to tap the Dragon Relic button. When performing Dragon Relic, Bandit will:
- Temporarily increase his damage for all Relic moves (except for Poison Relic).
- Allow him to use 1 extra Relic in the air (except for Poison Relic).
- Enable unlimited usage of all normal Relics for a limited amount of time.
This move consumes 1 Dragon Relic to use.
- Wind Contract can carry a maximum of 3 Dragon Relics.
- The duration of Dragon Relic can be increased with PIE.
- While in the Dragon Relic state, Bandit can perform:
Thunder Dragon Relic[]
Thunder Contract Dragon Relic can be used in midair or on the ground. When performing Dragon Relic, Bandit will throw a large bomb that will explode upon hitting an enemy or solid object, dealing multiple hits. This move deals Holy damage and consumes 1 Dragon Relic to use.
- Thunder Contract can carry a maximum of 4 Dragon Relics.
- When using Dragon Relic, Bandit will recoil into the air.
Poison Dragon Relic[]
Poison Contract Dragon Relic can be used in air or ground. When performing Dragon Relic, Bandit will dash forward and, if the attack hits an enemy, it will deal Holy Damage and lock onto that enemy for a period of time, similar to Shinobi's Dragon Dash. This move consumes 1 Dragon Relic to use.
- Poison Contract can carry a maximum of 3 Dragon Relics.
- The duration of the lock-on time can be increased with PIE.
- (Small-sword only) While locked onto an enemy, Bandit's Slash will automatically hit the target that he is locked onto.
- Slash still retains its hitbox, which means it still damages the locked-on enemy as well as other enemies that are within its hitbox.
- (Shuriken only) While locked onto an enemy, Bandit's Shuriken will now hit only the target that he is locked onto.
- Throughout the dash animation of Dragon Relic, Bandit will have I-frames.
