Let's have a good quest!
Hello everyone, old and new! (It seems more people are reading and editing the Wiki now, so I hope it is helpful to people!)
Here is a brief status update:
Upon reviewing the playable character pages, it will most likely be best to combine the Basic Techniques and Advanced Techniques page into a single simple page: Techniques. (That’s mainly the major change currently, but not sure yet when this will roll out since the school semester has just resumed.)
Aside from that, DMFD’s 5th Anniversary is upcoming on January 31, 2024! It’s now been half a decade and I’m happy to see that people are still enjoying the game. I hope you will continue to enjoy it with friends for a long time.
Let’s have a good quest!
Happy anniversary to DMFD.
Let’s have a good quest!
It’s that time of year again! Merry Christmas!
DMFD Christmas-themed wallpaper is available on the official DMFD portal website.
Remember to stack up on Frost-stopper Bones to avoid getting Frostbite status!

Hello everyone,
After several months of this ongoing Wiki revitalization project, I will now be slowing down from doing Wiki work. Due to the upcoming Fall semester, I will not be able to work on the Dragon Marked For Death (EN) Wiki as actively as before so I can focus on my other endeavors. This will most likely be the way it is from here on out.
I will still be available to contact via my user page, Twitter (@cptredder), and Discord (Seafood Warrior#7290). Please feel free to contact me if you need help or if there is an issue occurring. Thank you!
In the future, depending on the Wiki’s growth, I may work on setting up policies for this Wiki in regards to higher permissions and other things.
Notable Wiki Updates:
Anonymous Editing and Anonymous Commenting have now been reenabled on this Wiki. You no longer need an account to contribute or comment on this Wiki.
The Main Page and Top Navigation have been updated to better suit the content of this Wiki. Any feedback pertaining to improving the website’s navigation is welcome.
Guides are a new category, which will contain content such as general gameplay guidelines, a glossary of terms, etiquette guidelines, player class guidelines, and more.
Player Class guide pages now contain a section for Quick References to show Growth Rates, Hit!! counts, movement speeds, etc.
Player Class guide pages should begin to be split up into subpages, similar to the Warrior page. Not all pages have been split up yet.
What’s Left to Do:
Create an Amica page. After all this time, somehow I forgot about this. I’m sorry. Anybody can feel free to create the page so that it can be populated. I have some of the official artworks that I can upload once that is done. Thank you.
Clean up the Accessories pages. The goal is to reformat them to be in a similar structure as the Weapons pages, where the drop lists are put in charts and the detailed lists are split up into groups that are easier to view, as opposed to everything all at once.
Upload as many raw map sprite rips as possible. I have compiled a few, but haven’t uploaded the rest to the Wiki yet. I might do that sometime soon if I don’t forget…
There are several wanted pages that you can see marked and underlined in red color.
Personal Plans:
I’m hoping to re-upload the DMFD OST on YouTube at some point along with extra information such as translated musician notes included on the disk sleeve. This has not been archived anywhere yet, and I think it would be a good thing to do.
I’ve been working on The Cutting Room Floor’s DMFD page even before joining this Wiki. It’s not the biggest concern right now, but I think it would be nice to also upload the information from TCRF onto this Wiki so that it is more accessible.
There’s probably more things to note, but as I am typing this on my phone in the early morning (lol), these are the things that came to mind.
I’ve been very touched and happy to see that people are able to use the information on the Dragon Marked For Death (EN) Wiki. It used to be an unreliable resource in 2019-2021, but I’m happy now that it is at least usable and helpful to some players. It means a lot to me. Thank you.
I think that’s all for now.
Thank you for your time and let’s have a good quest.
The Witch probably stays up at 4:00 AM reading books.
Hello everyone. This is a progress update for the month of August 2022.
To newcomers: thank you for joining the Dragon Marked For Death (EN) Wiki! We hope you find the information useful.
Also, a question: I'm curious to know how people are finding this Wiki, if people don't mind saying so in the replies to this post. I am anticipating that the primary communities using this Wiki are outside of Fandom, and I am interested in the response. Thank you!
Content Updates:
We have completed the formatting and basic contents of the following pages:
Weapons and all related Category pages.
Accessories and all related Category pages.
We have found an improved method to implement Tweet video embeds onto pages and are now using this method across the Wiki.
We have added navigation box templates pertaining to "Data" and "Lore & Franchise" to relevant pages across the Wiki. We hope that these navigation boxes will be useful.
We have also completed the basic expected structures of Equipment articles, such as Schiavona. These articles will utilize an Infobox called Template:Equipment, and the instructions are included in the Community-To-Do-List.
We have begun the process of creating Interactive Maps for the various Quests in the game. As such, the Main Page has been updated. Map images will use direct rips from the Steam version of the game, albeit with some slight edits depending on the Quest. Not all Maps have been uploaded yet, so it will take some time. But a few of them, such as Ensys Castle - The Bell Tolls, have already been mostly completed. Any feedback pertaining to improving the usability and readability of these Maps is welcome.
Management Updates:
To keep the user roster of this Wiki up to date, we have removed Admin and Bureaucrat roles from inactive members of the Fandom community. Members inactive since late 2021 have had their non-autoconfirmed roles removed. If you were previously an Admin, your role was removed, and you would like it returned, please contact me and we can make a negotiation. Thank you.
Future Plans:
The full Class guides are still in progress. Many of the video clips proposed by Admin Tornado Fang have already been completed. However, we are still experimenting with the structures of these articles due to their lengths. The basic information is complete, but the explanations of techniques and other advanced contents are still a work in progress.
In particular:
The Witch page needs the majority of high-quality gifs removed due to the amount of lag on the page.
Tweet embeds that aren't currently working are not to be replaced until further notice. The embeds are not working because the user may have temporarily privated their Twitter account.
Some of the Basic Tech sections do not yet have videos and explanations. They will be added at some point in the future.
Etc.
Conclusion:
Since the Fall semester is coming up in about 3 weeks from now, I may not be very active on editing as I have been before. However, as usual, if you ever need my assistance, please feel free to contact me. I am also available on Twitter and Discord if you need faster communication or just want to chat.
Once again, thank you for visiting and supporting the revitalization of the Dragon Marked For Death (EN) Wiki. We have done a lot of work over the past months and things are looking quite good! : )
Over the next 2 months, I will be making small DMFD clips for each character’s Contracts. In total there will be 30 clips because there are 6 characters and 5 Contracts per character. These clips will be posted in Twitter and linked to the DMFD wiki in the section called "Contract-specific Advanced Tech"
DMFD EN Wiki is currently undergoing a major style overhaul (i.e. page layouts, page styles, background styles, site logo changes, Template styles, etc.). Light Mode should now be usable, and any feedback pertaining to improving the usability of Light Mode is welcome.
As a result of this overhaul, some page elements may sometimes appear incorrectly. This is most likely due to recently-published edits that I have been making on MediaWiki:Common.css.
If something appears incorrectly, most likely it will be fixed after a few seconds. To see these changes, you will need to bypass your browser's cache.
Firefox / Safari: Hold Shift while clicking Reload, or press either Ctrl-F5 or Ctrl-R (⌘-R on a Mac)
Google Chrome: Press Ctrl-Shift-R (⌘-Shift-R on a Mac)
Internet Explorer / Edge: Hold Ctrl while clicking Refresh, or press Ctrl-F5
Opera: Press Ctrl-F5.
The future plan for this Wiki is to overhaul more pages.
The Player Class guides are still being updated.
The Accessories page will be divided into separate pages due to the sheer amount of content on that one page, which makes loading extremely slow.
Currently, the planned Weapon Tree pages for Weapons are a low priority.
There are more things to do, but it's a bit too much to list all of it right now.
Thank you for visiting the DMFD EN Wiki.
As far as I know, there is currently no archive of Weapon images on any DMFD database Wiki.
After the main Weapons pages have been completely reviewed, I am planning on making pages for each Weapon Tree. For example, Katzbalger and Emperor Sword weapons would all be categorized under one Weapon Tree. In those pages, clean Steam version sprite rips of the weapons will be hosted. A new Category called “Weapon Trees” will be created if this is successful.
I have not tested this yet, but I will update as the process goes on.
Thank you for reading.
Hello everyone,
We are going to be revamping all of the Class guides to the quality of the Warrior page.
Please be careful when browsing the contents of pages that are in the process of revamping, as there is a lot of old, outdated, and incorrect information, until we fix them.
So far, all Class pages need revamping, including Warrior.
For now, we are working on the Shinobi and Warrior page, and will move on to the other pages as we go on.
*As of 17 June 2022, we are making progress on the Witch and Empress pages as well, with reference to the Chinese Wiki.
Hi everyone. A lot of good stuff has been done over just the past few days.
On my end, I am anticipating that the next few days / the next week will be busy for me with outside obligations. As such, it’s likely that I won’t be actively working on the Wiki during that time, compared to what I have been doing.
Currently, I have frameworks set up for Weapons pages, but need help checking if they are up-to-date with Version 3.1.5. That will be the main focus for this week.
I may be working on general clean-up such as changing the Main Page, and etc.
Also, for now, please do not touch the Rivalis page because it still needs set-up. Thank you.
Hello! My name is G.R (CptRedder). I've been hoping to revitalize and immensely improve this Wiki for a very long time.
There may be new people coming in to help out, so bear with me. There is a lot I want to fix and I'm hoping that it can be achieved.
I'm still getting used to this process and there is a lot of set-up left to do, but yeah, I'm looking forward to it!
An aside: I main Warrior for DMFD and know the most about him. I also have friends helping out with explaining Empress and Shinobi. But it would be very helpful to have people who consider themselves experts (or at least confident) about the other Classes to help contribute.
Another aside: Pages with direct translations of Japanese also need fluent or professional translators. I cannot scan pages of the Artbook, but anyone who has the Artbook and can read it without a translator are very much welcome as well.
Please see this page for more notes and editing guidelines.
Thank you!
Hello everyone!
